HLTAID003 Provide First Aid (formally known as Apply / Senior First Aid) is a contemporary course which provides participants with the knowledge and skill to confidently recognise, respond effectively and safely to an emergency situation requiring first aid.
This course is offered to our existing clients group bookings only. Gain confidence to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance. This is the advised minimum requirement by Workplace Health & Safety Legislation for the workplace first aider.
On completion of this course you qualify as a Workplace First Aider. The Statement of Attainment is recognised throughout Australia and is on ACECQA list of approved first aid courses.

Minimum age for participants is 14 years. Completion of the online eLearning is required prior to the face to face training. It is a requirement of this course that you are physically capable of performing uninterrupted CPR for at least 2 minutes on a CPR manikin placed on the floor.
A quality first aid manual and a FREE CPR keyring resuscitation face mask. A coloured certificate with a coloured hard plastic wallet card, replica of the certificate. An emailed copy of your certificate when competent and a web based verification system to authenticate your award. For the flexible learning option, a self-paced online eVideo workbook is provided. The use of quality, hygienic adult, junior & infant manikins, bandages, training props and defibrillators. The use of auto-injector trainers, the use of training reliever medication (bronchodilators) with small & large volume spacers & masks. Up to date First Aid material, PowerPoint presentation, DVDs.

Certificate validity
Certificate valid for 3 years as per industry standard. The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends the CPR component is refreshed every 12 months.

In the face to face portion of the training, you are taught how to provide first aid with confidence. Training You First Aid conducts progressive scenario and theory based assessments throughout the course. Those that are time challenged find this flexible learning method very convenient.
